After a successful visit from the location manager for the Smash hit BBC comedy Jam & Jerusalem, Southcott Farm was chosen as the location for a Hilarious Dressage scene for the Next series.
Several Local riders where requested in as extra’s to add a little realism & authenticity to the scene and rose to the occasion, they will no doubt appear in the new episode.
They were:
Carolyn Vernon
Kerrie Bland
Debbie Newton
Cecilie Moore
Clementine Moore
Louisa Brend.
Harriet van Huben was also used as an extra.

The BBC crew were very efficient and had the huge cameras and heavy equipment erected & dismantled in rapid time.
The weather remained consistent to afford the crew ample time to compose the scene.

Jennifer Saunders watched everything like a hawk to make sure the scenes were just as she wanted them, and she stated that the filming had gone well.
Jennifer, who is very "down to earth", looked as good as ever and apppears to be holding father time back with little or no effort at all.

It will no doubt be surprising how hours of recording will condense down into a few minutes of Hilarious footage.
Our thanks to all of the riders and Extra’s for their effort & assistance in helping to make a success of what turned out to be a very long day of filming for them all.
